I haven't been posting because of practice and stuff like that. My head is messed up. I broke my finger last year, and so my mental state on the field is no longer what it used to be. I'm sucking it up, and I don't do that. So how the hell do I stop? I wish I knew. I'll get over it sometime, hopefully soon because we play next Saturday. So yea, and I guess since I'm "not improving" my coach is "dissappointed in [this other girl and I]." Sorry I run my poles slow. It's not that I'm not trying. My legs get tired and stuff. Gosh, never again will I not work out on breaks, she's really killer this time. And I need to be in shape over winter break because I have to run a mile under 9 minutes. And I will do it because I don't want to wake up at 6 every morning to go fucking run. God damn. I'm so upset right now.

Conditioning #2

So this morning we ran for 30 minutes then did some sprints up the foot bridge. Sigh. I had a very busy day, so I was on my feet a lot. Then at practice we did a whole bunch of stuff. I'm so tired. I need a foot massage as well. I guess that's how it goes.

I forgot what we did those other days. Running of course. Saturday we were running on some treadmils and they stopped suddenly so we biked the rest of the time.

Today we started conditioning practice at 6:45 this morning! It went allright though. {c.w} was not disappointed with me as I thought she might be. We ran the mile (9:49) and then ran an 800 (two laps) then a 400 (one lap). Tiring. My legs are tired right now. Then we had individuals later. But that was about it. Woo.

Work out #10 and 11

On Wednesday [m] and I didn't really do a lot. We didn't have much time during so we went to the field, did some hitting, and then ran the bases and ran some poles. It wasn't too hard. We probably should have done more, but we made up for it last night.

Last night we ran ladders. Those were hard. We did 11, but I felt so out of shape. Then after that we did shuffle ladders up to 9. Those were also tough. Then I got this really bad cramp. I haven't had one of those in a while. But after I cooled down it was fine and we did some abs.

Work out #8 and 9

Monday [m] and I ran for 30 minutes on the treadmill and then came outside and threw and hit.

Tuesday [m] and I ran the mile for a time. 10:16! That's 1 minute 26 seconds faster than the first time. So we're gonna keep working out so we can be even better. After that we did 30 crunches and single leg squats (2 sets of 10 each leg).

Work out #8

Yesterday [m] and I got up early to work out. We did our warm up poles, then we did sort of a circuit training thing. Box drill sprints, 30 crunches, 30 lunges (15 each leg), 25 squat jumps. We also sprinted up the foot bridge, which was tough. It was pretty tiring, but I guess we didn't do that much. Oh well. We tried to go out today, but it was really hot and humid, so we decided to take today off for a break. Tomorrow we will do more than planned.

Work out #7

This morning I went with [m] to go run on the field. We did 3 poles and then rested and then 2, which is basically what we do for regular warm up. Then we ran the bases. It was tough at first, but I got into it. Then we timed ourselves going to first, but we only did it once, 3.69 I think it was. Close to it. That's not a good time, but it's not really bad either. So we're just going to keep on running and stuff before Coach can get a hold of us.
